District 9 Plot Summary: This was one of the best movies of 2009 in my opinion. It is a dark comedy with a scifi theme. I don't think most people will get this movie but you should give it a shot, hell even if you don't get it, it still is an entertaining action sci fi flick. The basic plot is that aliens have landed on the earth and there is a huge ghetto in south africa of the aliens, they kinda look like cockroaches and act as such. Our hero, a gov worker who leads a goverment expidition to move the unsightly aliens to a new location gets infected and is slowly becoming one, leading him on a long desperate flight from the humans and gives him a new perspective on our new friends.
