Boyz n the Hood Plot Summary: John Singleton's I believe directorial debut about a young man growing up in the ghetto burbs of LA, its not compton but somewhere real close. For its time it was ground breaking and a good tale and it's fun to watch such a classic , its been almost 20 years now! Truthfully there are better more fun African American flicks out there but you can't dis the classics.
